"This piece is part of a diptych*, reflecting on the theme of the previous album “Dreamsquasher” constructing a continuity & natural progress between both albums. The art is based on the concept of the “zombie-fungus” Cordyceps. In this piece the mushrooms have come to fruition & release their spores in “dust” like smoke. Referring to the title & fully showing the duality of life/death.
I’ve been very vocal about how much I like 16; I’ve been following them since their Bacteria Sour days. There’s not that many bands, that make me clench my fists & want to break things: 16 sure does."
