"Seer (Janus)"
2011, Charcoal on Rives BFK, 18" X 18”

"As I reflect on my works I see how duality plays an important role. Here we have a version of Janus, the god of transition, duality and such. This work did appear in the booklet for Hate Eternal’s 2011 album, Phoenix Amongst the Ashes. At the time, I was at the start of a major life transition as was Erik, Hate Eternal’s founder. Death is rooted together with beauty and life was the simple idea behind this drawing; the two intrinsically linked pushing all of us into transitions."

Available as a museum quality Giclee Print in two sizes.
