Written as a reaction to 2024's machine-driven Perdition, Purulences marks a shattering return to 'guitars-first' songwriting, with seven tracks built around malevolent death metal riffs and mind-numbing sludgy breakdowns - still balanced with icy cold melodies and stark soundscapes. Once again recorded and produced entirely by the band, with Cyrille Gachet and Alan Douches returning for mixing and mastering, Purulences captures FANGE at the height of their creative synergy.
