"I Imagine Losing You All The Time"
2019, Oil on canvas, 48" X 48"

"In early 2019 I had my first major health scare, where I came close to death due to organ failure. As these things tend to do, it left myself and my partner rattled and introspective. Mortality was in the forefront of our thinking as well as a possibility, albeit imagined, of coping with that level of loss. It seemed unfathomable. There is a process of weeding out, once you have a brush with death, that gives importance where it is most due, letting the rest fall to the side. I Imagine Losing You All the Time has a duality to it as a statement from the idea of loss or the deliberate losing of memories and hurts that hinder us from our full potentials."

Available as a museum quality Giclee Print in three sizes.
