“Mother Echidna” oil on paper, 18x18” The mother of monsters, Echidna, stems from Greek mythology. From the time I could read, I loved mythology of any kind. I still look to the mythologies to make sense of our world today. More than ever it seems like Echidna is in high-gear delivering her brood onto our world with them to creating misery through oppression, war, inequality and other such horrors.
