Formed in St. Louis, MO, in early 2018, Time and Pressure took the midwestern United States by force with their 2018 demo tape. In 2019, Safe Inside Records released their debut LP The Gateway City Sound, it propelled the band to tour the Midwest and East Coast. Rounding out their sound as a five-piece, the band went on to play Sweat Fest and Promcore, as well as provide direct tour support to Defeater. Time and Pressure continued this momentum in 2020. Starting the year having played the LDB Fest pre-show, they have stayed busy during the global pandemic by appearing on Safe Inside Records’ Please Stay Safe Inside: A Compilation Benefiting Those Affected by COVID-19, released a split 7” with Oakland, CA’s Discourage, and live-streamed a show at the Sinkhole in St. Louis, MO, resulting in the Live In The Gateway City cassette released by New Morality Zine, which benefitted St. Louis, MO’s Women’s Safe House. Fall 2021 will see their follow up LP Halfway Down along with a 2 song promo to be released on tape and Flexi 7".
